It is with great pride that I welcome you to Greet Primary School. Whether your child already attends our school or you are considering joining our vibrant community, I hope our website gives you a flavour of what makes Greet such a special place.
I feel incredibly fortunate to be the Head of School here at Greet. My journey here began in 2004 as a Teaching Assistant, and it was this very school that inspired me to become a teacher. Greet has shaped my career, and I am honoured to now lead a team of dedicated and talented colleagues who share a deep commitment to our children and the wider Sparkhill community.
At Greet, we believe “There are no limits to what we can achieve.” This powerful motto underpins everything we do. Our school values - Work Hard, Be Kind and Make Good Choices - guide our daily interactions and help us nurture a caring, respectful and ambitious learning environment.
We are passionate about helping every child become a lifelong learner, equipped with empathy, enthusiasm and the social skills needed to succeed in the next stage of their educational journey. Our focus is firmly on learning and ensuring every child feels successful and supported in order to achieve their potential.
Our curriculum is engaging, exciting and tailored to reflect the rich diversity of our community. From exploring Sparkhill and the Stratford Road to discovering Birmingham, the UK and the wider world, we take children on a voyage of discovery that broadens their horizons and deepens their understanding.
Greet is more than just a school. It’s a family. Many of our staff have been with us for over 10 years, and some are even former pupils who have returned to give back to the community that shaped them. This deep-rooted connection is a testament to the strength and spirit of our school.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Greet Primary School. We look forward to welcoming you and your child into our community. Together, we will continue to grow, learn and achieve without limits.
Chloe Williams
Head of School
As the Executive Headteacher of Greet Primary School, I am honoured to serve a community with so much tradition, culture, ambition and love for their children.
At Greet we are passionate about inclusive education and believe that every child deserves to be in a school where they are supported, respected, cared for, and educated so that they can go on to become valuable world citizens. Our ambitious curriculum is the backbone of this. We believe that there are no limits to what we can achieve when we work together. Our values of Achieving Excellence, Social Intelligence and Ethical Lives permeates through everything we say and do.
Our school is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe in nurturing the whole child and encouraging our children to explore their interests and passions and achieving excellence.
We are also committed to fostering a strong partnership with parents, guardians, and the wider community. We believe that education is a shared responsibility, and we encourage parents to be actively involved in their child's education. We offer a range of opportunities for parent involvement, including parent-teacher meetings, school events, volunteer opportunities, warm spaces, a parent’s café, stay and play and exhibitions.
At Ceate Partnership Trust we put the children at the heart of everything we do and speak. Kasserian Ingera is a traditional greeting among Masai warriors. One warrior would always say to another, “Kasserian Ingera,” which, in Swahili, means, “Are the children well?”. If the children are well then all is well…it means that we have taken care of our curriculum – both the written and unwritten, our staff, our environment, and our community.
